I am interested in this car and I am in discussion with the seller. However, I am not completely and madly in love with it and I won't buy a car off eBay, but we are discussing the car.
The good points is for me obviously the paint. Love it.

My wife has told me that this car, in no uncertain terms, will not be officially "her" car. It will be a car she will drive, but her car will be a convertible in the future.
This, she said, will be the car for going back and forth to work and for groceries, etc..
Get what I want was her last words. So I do like the comp orange better too.
I am shying away from getting a nice car as we will be travelling 100+kms a day back and forth to work and the car will get beat up pretty quick under those conditions.
But you never know. I could change my mind again. So could she.

Why the chrome 00-02 headlights on an SVT?
And does it come with the stock parts that were replaced? rims, headlights...etc. etc.

The paintjob looks well done, but doesnt look good. I think a stock solid color SVT looks a lot better.. and there's just something off about those chrome housing headlights on the SVT.

That SVT that was in the Toronto Sun a few weeks ago also had a new computer (or re-flash.) It had a sticker on the battery cover with an authorized Ford replacement ECU remark. It must be a common thing with SVTs?
yeah I think there was a recall related to the ECU's from earlier models... but I could be wrong.
Personally I love the paint work, but really I'd change the bumpers on that thing so fast to 2002 euro in no time as I really dislike the SVT bumpers, more so the rear.
And paint work for what he paid, I think he got a fair deal, but paid about $1000 too much, I can quote this as the '66 Mustang my dad and I have has ghost strips painted into the clear coat paint, and and we have the documents to prove that who ever paid for the paint job paid $7000 for it taxes in.
I'm a little late but here goes anyways. Wrong headlights and new paint because car was wrecked, new clutch and flywheel because it was beat on, new wheels and tires because they were alll bent/bald. Toggle switch under radio to defeat traction control to smoke tires/clutch. Computer replaced because well... they were problematic.
Stay Away.
