Well I just want to know who has the oldest focus, I know Mike (malby) had one of the oldest here, now with him gone, am I the king?

I got my car in August of 2000. So it will be 6yrs in August. Dammm that is the longest car i have had.

Since I’ve had my focus I’ve been in 3 long relationships, drove to California and back with this car. I guess even though it’s a Ford it lasted longer then most of my relationships. hehe :P :P

I really don’t want to get rid of this car. It’s been a historical piece for me. But I guess as they say all good things will come to an end.

I’m just waiting for Mike to sell his car so I can put mine in the trader right after.

I got my car in August of 2000 as well.

My car had a build date of May 2000 and it had the early 2000 intake manifold on it until replaced with the JRSC intake.
Am I really the Veteran @ June 4th 2000?
I will look, but we have only had the car since May '04, but I would bet dollars to donuts that Aaron's car is older than Malby's.
I think we all sold them before they became old.

A 6 year old car is old?
If you think that is the case Jay, always lease.
7 years is the timeline for deciding on leasing versus buying. If you buy a car and keep it longer than 7 years, you are financially better off. If you want and get a new car sooner than 7 years, lease is better value. And that is coming from the ex VP of Leasing and Daily rentals, Ford of Canada. ie....my pops.
Mars 2000!!!! My dad lease it when it first came out...

I'm sure I'm in the top ten. Mine was a July 2000 factory order delivered in September.
