Not knocking the ST by any means but I'd take the Vdub over it.

I'd rather have the responsiveness of the ST over the lack-of-feeling of the Dub.
As Clarkson and Top Gear mag said in January of this year about the Dub... "It's. Been. Emotionless. Detached like a rugby-injured shoulder".

the focus has it beat in every performance category!!!
remember, we can have that motor mated to AWD here in Canada, it only costs $40,000 plus!
