Wen i make right turns and use the brakes the front brakes seem to grind......i am thinkin i need new brake pads........think it could be anything else...it doesn't happen only when making right turns but it is most noticeable then

ideas?
Could be worn/warped rotors causing a "loose" grab for the pads.
My brakes soooo need to be done? *sigh*

Anyone want to come over and do them for me????

I have beer. after you're done of course.
Beer while doing brakes is more fun

It's actually not difficult at all. I think my rotors are a little mishaped now.. brembo quality meets ceramic pads + my heavy foot

I've got new rotors and pads (and fluid and SS brake lines) still in the box. Brake installation G2G anyone?

It takes longer to jack the car up and remove the wheel than it does to do a rotor and pad swap. 30mins for both sides max!

That's what you said about my springs
depends on the rotors. I know that my slotted and cross drilled rotors tended to 'grind' at low speeds...
30 minutes per side? including bleeding the brake fluid?
for brake and rotor it should take less than 1hr from start to finish, take 15min off if there is help.

I would like someone to show me how to bleed fluid as well.
bleeding fluid is easy.
jack up car
take off wheels
crack all bleeders open then snug them just tight.

get a buddy in the driver seat and to listen to your instructions.
you say "DOWN", he puts his foot to the floor and holds it there.
you say "UP", he lifts his foot of and pedal returns to the top.

crack open the back passenger bleeder and say "DOWN" fluid will rush out, put your finger over the bleeder opening and say "UP". do this about 6 times, close the bleeder and check the fluid level and top up. continue at that corner untill PURE clean fluid is all that comes out.
switch to back driver side and repeat steps above untill pure clean fluid.
move to front pass, repeat and then front driver and repeat.
pump up the pedal and check for firmness. if the pedal is not like a rock then you need to check each corner for air bubbles.

that's about it. if you do it right, shouldn't take you more than 15-20mins.

or i can sell you a powerbleeder and you can do it by yourself in about 5mins!
i'd be up for a brake changing gtg, when do you wanna do it?
