So the reason I've been having exhaust probs is becuase my lower engine mount has failed me. Flexing the engine too much and open up the flex pipe and header connection. Major lose in power and a gain in noise. So Spinal, if your going to get the header then get a mount too.

So I found this company DSR Performance. They were selling the CFM Nock Off mount for 69.99. So I looked around and found them selling one on Ebay and it was $45.00 + $15 for shipping.
So if your in need of a mount give them a look.
I'm the first to order from them for Canada so I'll post back and see the shipping time and stress.
prepare yourself for some good vibration........your girlfriend might like it but not you :P
Ya I know... I'm prepared for it. Though it is needed on my car.
Just PM 06GTPony and get a price on a OEM mount. It will probably work better than a knock off in the long run.
I already have one of those and it failed me lol. But I know what your saying. I'm jsut going to try this one out. It's alot better pricing than FS or CFM.
I also talked to the owner and he is going to look inot getting some more Focus parts in.

Negative
Another option is to look at the energy suspension bushings that go in your stock mount. IIRC I picked up a set once for $15 off ebay.

The vibration isn't that bad, it never bugged me much, and I did all 3 mounts.

Silly no.. my stereo is silly. Blew my alternator and the one I put in needed to have a higher rev to keept the car from loosing power at idle.

I had a 950CCA Optima Yellow top 2 X 2.4 12Volt Caps and The Sony's killed the Yellow top and cooked the alternator. LOL. The system I have pumps hard and everyone says sony xplodes expplode don't buy that s***... Mine will out beat any of those over priced MTX or Rockford systems lol. Next meet I'll let you listen lol.
in that case ill let you listen to my MTX sub/Rockford amp system and we can compare haha mine can like put out in the range of 140ish dB's i would say when i have bass turned up. still have yet to go to a comp for a measurement. U shall see my young grass hopper, it gives girls in the back seat a good time and thats no lie
Jamie your crazy buddy. My stereo put out an impressive 137.8 DB with the Amp Rack in the way of the subs.

Ok so I recieved it and yest it took a bit. I was the first to be shipped to Canada from the company

Anyways install was a piece of cake took two socket wrenches and some floor jacks or ramps.
There is NO movement in the engine now and on start up it is a little rough. That being said while driving it is roungh and did not solve my exhaust leak I still need to put a new gasket and seal it back up.
From dead stop this is a bit of vibration and it makes the engine sound... stronger I believe.
