The product began from a search for a rust preventative solvent and

I saw no where in there on anything regarding "flammable".

- Its great to start a fire up real fast.
- Light it from the can and get rid of bees nests fast.
- Wanna have some fun, spray some on a toilet seat and watch what happens when people sit down.

WD-40 is not as flammable as it used to be. It was the greatest starting fluid out there. (no unexpected explosions from ether and no dry starts either)

It does relieve arthritis pain (my grandmother used it all the time)

It is THE WORLDS BEST hand cleaner.

Beats me but it gets ya thinking.

What else could you possibly do with WD-40?

Next thing we know, it'll prevents diaper rash.
Yah, that's a nice marketing blurb. It's what the makers of WD40 wants everyone to hear.

However, I remember reading somewhere that WD40 the magic water displacing liquid actually contains water and promotes rust!
hmm, if it displaced that much water, they should dump a few billion gallons into neworleans...

Problem solved!

I hate the stuff, lol. If Motormaster Silicone Lube or Motomaster White Grease can't fix it, I don't bother trying.
I wonder if it's useful when someone apparently has their head stuck... somewhere. Damn split OT! :D
