Just remember, the V220's ac adapter only works in North America, unlike the other Motorola Quad bands, it does not support european or asian voltage. We had that problem with these V220's and we sent all of them back to our supplier for new V551's.

The V220's are good if you are only in NA.

Yeah AL's the ROGERS guy here, he can get good deals on new rogers phones, where as I can only deal with unlocked phones and fido phones.

V220 is actually a pretty nice phone. I've been using the V220 and its younger brother the V180 phone for quite some time now, and no problems.

Hmm, strange, cus I'm looking at the AC Adapter from my V220 (also works on my v180) and it specifically says Input Voltage: 100 - 240V~ 50/60Hz, 0.1A, Motorola P/N SPN5093A... AL can you verify this?

Yeah we had a few phones like that come into work, the ac adapter went poof. It was the only model that came like that. The rest, V600, V551, V60, and such were okay.
