i did a search and couldn't find anything to deal with the wiper in the rear. it doesn't work at all, the rear washer fluid works so do the front wipers. has anyone come across this?

if you hear the motor, then the teeth on the gear are shot. if you dont hear the motor either the fuse/relay is blown or the motor is shot.
