Quote:"NEW" EXTENDED LOCAL CALLING AREAS
IN NEW BRUNSWICK

Rogers Wireless is excited to announce that it has enlarged the local calling areas in New Brunswick, effective since March 2004. These expanded LCAs will give New Brunswick callers a larger footprint in which they can make local calls, this providing a better customer experience. The new LCAs have effectively segmented New Brunswick into 5 large areas that now include Southeast, Fundy, Saint John River Valley, Acadian Peninsula, and Northwest. These new Rogers Wireless LCAs enable us to be consistent with Aliant and Telus LCAs in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

The new LCA's include the following areas:

Southeast - Moncton, Cap Pele, Bouctouche, Dorchester, Peticodiac

Fundy - Saint John, Grand Bay, Hampton, Sussex, St. Stephen, St. George

Saint John River Valley - Fredericton, Gagetown, Doaktown, Harvey, Millville

Acadian Peninsula - Miramichi, Neguac, Shippagan, Caraquet, Bathurst, Belledune

Northwest - Woodstock, Bristol, New Denmark, Perth Andover, Plaster Rock, Grand Falls, Edmunston

and one more:

Quote:The local weekly newspaper reported a Rogers ad claiming "35% more cells in Halifax"
This is a combination of former Fido sites turned Rogers and newly erected Rogers GSM/GPRS/EDGE sites in Halifax and surrounding.

Can someone say MAD SEEG in the EAST COAST?
one more piece of good news:

Quote:"Now Better in More Places. The Rogers Wireless network is better than ever. We've just condensed 5 years of expansion into 6 months by combining the world class Rogers Wireless and Fido networks. Now you have 50% more cells in Canada giving you greatly increased signal strength, fewer dropped calls and improved coverage. Our GSM/GPRS network reaches 94% of the Canadian population offering extensive coverage in both urban centres and local areas.

Canada's largest integrated voice and data network just got better. Notice the difference for yourself and say hello to a new Rogers Wireless network."

This is for the people that thought and still think the purchase of Fido never brought anything good to Rogers
