Your throttle (cruise?) cable (There's two cables looping over the engine. It's the one on the right) is rubbing on your valve cover. Eventually it'll rub right through the paint. It's a known SVT problem.

You see that little piece of rubber foam tubing on the cable? (It's right over the black plastic cover attached to the right of the engine on your picture). Slide it up to where the cable is contacting the valve cover. Problem fixed.

(They all come like this from the factory. I had the dealer replace my valve cover under warranty.

Are you missing a clamp from the short ram..???..I just saw 4 instead of 5 that came with it...or is it the picture???
There was only 4 clamps in the box. I can't move the wire protector on the cable. I'll have to complain about it the next time I take it to the dealer.
It's not just the SVT that the cable rubs the valve cover, my Zetec does that also. Stupid design flaw IMO.
