2009 Chevrolet Cobalt
2009 Chevrolet HHR
2009 Chevrolet Malibu
2009 Chevrolet Traverse
2009 GMC Acadia
2009 Pontiac G5

On certain vehicles, the transmission shift cable adjustment clip may not be fully engaged. Should this occur, the shift lever and the actual position of the transmission gear may not match. This could result in the driver moving the shifter to Park and removing the ignition key, without the transmission gear actually being in the Park position, which could cause the vehicle to roll away. Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the shift cable.

2009 Dodge Ram
Vehicles affected: 45

On certain Dodge Ram heavy-duty pickup trucks equipped with a manual transmission and the optional power-adjustable pedal package, the clutch pedal connecting rod to the clutch master cylinder may separate. This could prevent disengagement of the clutch when the pedal is depressed, which could result in unintended vehicle movement, increased stopping distance, and engine stalling. Dealers will replace the clutch master cylinder hydraulic system.

2009 Dodge Journey
Vehicles affected: 4,090

On certain vehicles, an unused electrical connector could become corroded and cause a short circuit. If the fuse for this circuit does not blow, the connector may overheat and catch fire. Dealers will reroute and stow the unused connector, and remove the fuse to disable the circuit.

2008-2009 Dodge Ram
Vehicles affected: 20,900

On certain 2008 Dodge Ram light-duty, and 2008-2009 heavy-duty pickup trucks, the windshield wiper motor may be susceptible to water intrusion that could result in partial or complete loss of windshield wiping capability. Dealers will replace the wiper motor assembly.

2002 to 2009 Dodge Ram
Vehicles affected: 340

Certain aftermarket replacement windshield wiper motor assemblies, sold during the 2008 and 2009 calendar year for use as service equipment on 2002 to 2009 Dodge Ram pickup trucks, may be susceptible to water intrusion that could result in partial or complete loss of windshield wiping capability. Owners who had windshield wiper motor assemblies serviced during the 2008 and 2009 calendar year will be asked to take their vehicles to a Chrysler dealer for inspection, and for repair if required.

2009 Hummer H3T
Vehicles affected: 123

On certain vehicles, the fuel tank front support strap may fracture. Continued use of the vehicle may eventually fracture the rear support strap and stone shield fasteners, which could allow the fuel tank to separate. Dealers will replace the fuel tank front support strap with an updated version.

2008 Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 8J00BRVCA
2008 Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 8J00GLXCA
2008 Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 8J00MTXCA
2008 Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 8J00RSECA
Units affected: 11,439

Certain multi-stage child car seats contain an incorrect Canadian National Safety Mark (NSM0, and thus do not comply with the labelling requirements of the Motor Vehicle Restraint System and Booster Cushions Safety Regulations. The label affixed to the seats only indicates compliance with CMVSS 213.2, instead of both CMVSS 213.2 and 213. Updated labels will be mailed to owners, along with instructions for proper installation.

2009 Volkswagen Passat
Vehicles affected: 640

On certain vehicles, the right front seatbelt buckle wiring harness may have been incorrectly routed during vehicle assembly. As a result, the wires could become damaged when the seat is moved fully up and down, or fore and aft. If this occurs, the airbag control module could deactivate the passenger’s frontal airbag. Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, reroute the harness.
