OK guys I want to know what size speakers fit in our cars. Please mention any that require even a little work to make them fit.
OR,
Can we fit 6.5", 6", 6"x9", 5.25"?

i know that 5.25" will fit, but you have to make a mounting plate for it out of 1/2" mdf. a 6x8" and 5x7" will fit without any work. 6.5" might not fit cause the stock speaker is 6x8".
We can put alot of different things/combos into the focus'
some require a mounting plate or other form of pre-work...
but you can fit 5 1/4, 6 1/2, 6x8, 5x7.....etc..
Can we put 6.5" components without getting an adapter plate or anything?
Where would you guys put the tweeter, remember that I have all options on my car except side airbags, so the power window switch is in the way for the obvious place to mount it?
ive seen people get a mounting bracket for their tweeters and they can mount right beside the speakers in the front doors. the bracket overlaps a little bit of the speaker. i wish i still had photos, it looked cool. thing is no one would know you had tweeters cuz they would be hidden behind the door panel.
