ok for the past few weeks i have been busy doing my stereo install. in the back there is a complete fiberglass sub enclouse that mounted on the driver side, the amps are on the passenger side. ill give you some pics of it. its not finished now.

i just dropped them off for paint, its going to be a 2001 BMW Cosmo Black, also my some interior piece are being painted the same color

That's a super clean install, and you keep most of your cargo space too. Ideal setup..

i didn't do it myself, i had the guys at audio warehouse do most of it. i was there when they did do it so that i could learn how its done. there was a lot sanding involved, i got a work out from just that.

that is really nice! i would not mind to have a sub-box like that in my hatch.

How much did that set you back? I was planning on making one this summer

don't know how much yet, still have to do the wiring for the sub and amp. the paint is costing around $300

nice way to save space... hows the sound?

i know this is an old thread but i was wondering if the op has any info on the box, like what kinda air space there is and actually over all how did it sound and if theres any more pictures of it finished
