Okay - good to know. Kevin (hardkore) is tied up at work for a while and so I am picking up the baton, so to speak, for a while anyway ... I've got a call into the office at Dunnville and will update this thread as soon as I have any further info ...

based on what I know so far, the way the numbers work is this:

20 to 25 cars @ 80 - 90 each and we can have a four hour session on a Saturday or Sunday morning ...

As an alternative ... we could also have a Monday through Friday morning for a bit less and it seems logical that we would also have a greater choice of dates.

As I recall, at Dunnville you can fit at least 20 cars on the track safely at any one time ... and so that would be a lot of seat time for not a lot of money.

So - stay tuned ... early next week I will have some dates to choose from.

Cheers - - - Ken.
Yep, sunday is a Go.
Changed the brake fluid and put stiffer adjustment on sway bars.

I'd like to but I've temporarily run out of brownie points - I made a decision at the new year that I was going to really participate in as many long track events as I could this year ... and I've already stretched my wife's patience to the breaking point with the events I've already signed up for.

In addition to the Steeda Dyno day and the as yet undated FC.net Dunnville event, here's what I'm doing (and it would be awesome Nik if you or other FC.net members could come too):

May 24: BMW Trillium Club Autocross @ Sciex

June 5-7: BMW Trillium Club @ Mosport

June 14-17: BMW CC Patroon Chapter @ Watkins Glen

July 17-19: BMW Club Ottawa @ Calabogie

Aug 7-9: Quebec Club Bimmers Across the Border XI @ Mont Tremblant

Aug 31 - Sep 1: SVTOA @ Mosport

Sep 11-13: BMW Trillium Club @ Mosport
:o :o :o

I'll be putting these days down on my calendar.
How do I deal with that bmw club? Do I need to get in touch with their chapter president?
I will try to come out to at least 2-3 from that list!

You just join the local chapter for 50 bucks a year - which includes membership in the BMW Club of Canada (associate members don't need to own a Bimmer) ... and then you're eligible to sign up for any BMW event in N. America.

Wow looks like a lot of track times...I have alot of friends that go and they say its an addiction...A very expensive sport, plus it puts a big beating on the car.

Ken I would suggest getting some sort of deposit from the members that will be attending...That way things don't change last minute.

Saturday morning would be good with me.
Count me in guys I'd like to bring my Foci out to Dunnville :) Any weekend should be alright for me!
I'm going on may 31 to Dunnville
Come all!
did this ever happen? I was there today and met Gabriel and Constantine, hopefully I can track them down and see if they got a good video of today!
It was a pretty good day.....went to CSCS first then lapping at Dunville......Span out my buddy's built B20 :)
The thing felt unbalanced due to being gutted out at the back and heavier on the front...So when you step on the brake after gunning her at the straight it litterely starts drifting you..Fun car though. V-tec through 5500-8500RPM. Bhhhwwwwwaaaaaaa.

P.S. Im gonna be taking those driving classes through RIM.

I have reviewed the footage and I have you on camera just for a little bit , until you slipped out at the second turn after the front straight , then me chasing and passing the blue Subaru and the me again chasing the two Audi's until the end of the session . All together about 40 mins of film .

Hey Dan, it was fun riding with you in the car, good fun chasing down Gabriel even for a short time :D
There is another event at Dunnville in 28th June from 12 to 6pm. Me and Gabriel were thinking to go. This time I'm driving also ;)
I really wanna check out Shannonville now, even though it's a bit of a drive.

All these tracks are so damn far away and they wonder why people street race.

can you fill me in a little more on this? like how much does it cost and is there any pre-registering, i really wanna go to one of these lol.
Yes maybe it makes sense if we jump on someone elses event......work for me has been uber busy lately. Getting away from work to concentrate on the phone with the dunnville guys is a challenge.
i'll post about Cayuga lapping on June 21st
