well for me I've droped over 22 lbs in the last 2 months, I was working out a few months before then, and I stopped when my partner walked out on me back in november, and stress is the result of me loosing all that weight, I've personally noticed I'm not eating as much as I should, and when I do, I'm snacking, but I've been smart enough to snack on grapes, or blueberries or something healthy. I still get 85% of all my cardio done at work.

Is the camera scale the same?

Looks like R-Man will be taller than you by next year.

Big Grin
(Sorry, I had to.)
He's in 90% percentile for height and weight. He should be taller and bigger than his old man.

Jeez, you had to swing real low for that one, didn't you? Big Grin

Haha I'm not in a real position to talk; I'm not exactly tall myself by any definition, my oldest boy is 20 and shorter than I, and my youngest 2 boys are going to be taller.
I'm on an all cardio stint right now to drop some pounds. I know that weight training really helps weight loss too so I'll be mixing some of that in soon.
I wish I could get down to my college weight at about 225 where I was benching 260's and weight training like crazy. I've probably gained 80 pounds since then. Friggin' ridiculous. Here's to muscle memory!
I sound like a chick but I'd like to look a bit better for my wedding coming up lol

I've dropped about 25 pounds so far with eating better, I walk or jog pretty much every night.
my wife does this health stuff for a living and she says its all in the diet if you want to lose weight, 80% diet, 20% excersise.

She knows what shes talking about too, she went from 115 to 180 when she was pregnant, and she is now back down to 120.
dude, she put on 65lbs when preggos?!

i don't know much about carrying a baby but that seems like a lot?
yes she did, and yes its more than normal.
Well then, congrats to her for having shed it all back off
She better of! LOL

Dont tell her I said that

Dude, I LOLEd when I read that! And I'd say it's more 60/40 food and exercise, but that might just be maintenance that she's referring to.

Seriously, putting yourself into more of a ketogenic metabolic mode is quite sensible. People are just addicted to sugar and it wreaks havoc on their bodies - insulin levels all out of whack, your body enters storage mode / hibernation mode, etc.

I gave up refined sugar in like 90%+ of my diet, except where I can't avoid it (whole wheat bread, etc). Hands-down it's the best thing I ever did for myself at the dietary level.

Sure you can say that, but you wont be offended if i believe her over you. lol
Haha no I wouldn't, bud. Most of what I do these days, if not all, is based off of what I've learned from Mark McManus - http://www.musclehack.com

He knows his s**t.
