hey guys,

i did a quick search and found nothing so here comes my question,

does anyone with the GFX package on a 2005-07 focus have an extra front licence plater holder in the close to oshawa area?

i would reward with 50$ CDN if you do,

mines f**ked up cuz i've "tapped" someone, then 2 other ppl decide to run into me and its all messed up. i dont see alot of damage other then the plastic thing.

i would go new.. but the retarded thing is that its 100$ CDN from the dealer which is rediculous.

wholly cow, $100 plus hst for a lic plate holder? you might be better off chancing it with no front plate, that ticket might actually cost you less than the silly piece of plastic, or you can buy 2 suction cups, and mount the plate on the front plastic aka SVT Dean did to his SVTF Saleen Focus.

LOL - so much for the filters ... BTW - Ford only lists the one license plate bracket, so any one will do if you could find one at the wreckers ... they're about $50 in the US, but by the time you get it up here, it will still be fairly pricey.

Anyway, you should do what this guy did ... I'll give it some time to see if you can figure out what exactly this is.

Did he use reflective tape? and if he did, where would you get it????
I dont know if i would like that on may car, looks alright on his but i dont think im gonna do that on my car... i was just hoping someone didnt like theirs and had it lying around somwhere...

It looked to me like he peeled the reflective covering off his actual license plate and just stuck it on the front of the bumper ... it had that unusual reflective quality of a real plate ... anyway, I thought it was a decent solution to having a clunky plate on the front of a svelt bumper.

Actually that's a paint job (I know a gent in the local SVTOA chapter who did this to his T Bird) from 6ft away you'd swear it was just a bent over license plate.

gord just to give you the heads up, aren't all that durable. Buddy of mine had it on his car and it didn't hold up more than 2 little road trips. Hope you have better luck.

try and find a JDM angled back one u see them on s2000 and STIs all the time. they look pimp

i have a brand new one still in the bag from when I bought my car new...but I am in sask

just drill out the holes from the current plate holder and mount plate directly to bumper. 2$ fix

I have a volvo plate bracket, with the mounting screws, and thread caps, was an extra one in one of the lease returns that came in to my work, if the ford holes are the same sized as the mounting screws then you could mount it in the same spot, just a heads up though most volvo plate holders you won't be able to put on a place protecter unless its super thin.

i don't have a front license plate holder... good to know I'm supposed to lol

what does the volvo one look like? i might be interested if its similar to the original..
