So recently I have been helping a good friend of mine finish off his bike for the show this weekend at the International Center. We have a few more things to button up before the show but he's almost finished. He started with a 1984 Kawasaki KZ550 LTD. It's been chopped, stretched and raked. Foot clutch, suicide shift as well. This is basically what it looked like stock.

And here she is almost done. Her name is The Penny Pincher, because all her tins are obviously copper.

What do you think? Not bad for being built in a shed in the back yard.
Looks great!
I'm a big fan of copper, it's such a nice touch especially on a bike.
That looks great. i love project of all types
Looking good, must be hell & a half to keep looking that shiny though, I would think Huh

Well she's all loaded in the trailer and ready to go to the bike show at the International Center this weekend. My buddy is really excited to have it in it's first show. This has been a 4 year build and she is finally done. I will be sure to take pics tomorrow during set up and when I am at the show over the weekend.
Took home 3rd in his class, Asian Radical.
Show pics.
