As some of you may know I went to MBRP in Huntsville (20 minutes from the cottage FTW) and bought the last 3 remaining Focus exhausts in existence.

I even had to go to the Burl's Creek Auto Flea Market to pick one of them up and that was insane - just as an aside we should organize a trip up there next spring or fall (they do 2 a year) - it was simply amazing.

Anyway ... my plan right now is to keep one for myself and sell the other 2. There's a guy on Focusfanatics who wants one, but frankly it's a bit of a pain to sell and ship into the US, so if I can sell them here first, that would be my preference.

For those of you who don't know about MBRP - they are a Canadian company and by all accounts (including my own experience on 3 former Foci) they made the best cat-back ever for the Focus - there are lots of sound clips on youtube and probably more than a few cars on here have them.

This exhaust compares favourably to the magnaflow 15697 (never lower than $400 before taxes) and the FSWerks stealth exhaust at $449 (before shipping + taxes)

The model that I have is S4040 which is ostensibly for the sedan ... for the wagon the tailpipe needs to be lengthened a few inches, and for the hatch the tailpipe needs to be shortened a few inches ... both of these jobs are a few minutes at the most by any competent shop. I can refer you to my guy at Speedy here in Brampton if you need installation.

A special offer to FC.net members exclusively for the time being:

MBRP S4040 ........................................... $270 + HST *

* exhausts bought and paid for by Sunday the 25th will come with a Ford Motorcraft oil filter and a 1.25 gallon jug of Ford Motorcraft Synthetic Blend 5w-20 oil at no extra charge.

man....if i didnt already have an MBRP and a magnaflow exhaust id buy one!....MBRP by far the best sounding exhuast for the focus!
hmm, this is very tempting... any ideas on how i could trick my wife into thinking i didnt buy a whole catback exhaust? the problem is that i would want to store it until spring.

PM returned
And they're not just any stainless steel... They ar t304 stainless.. They'll last longer than your car it's self will... 270 is a hell of a price... Hurry and get em before they're gone... Sounds like Ken only has one left
And if ne one needs the tail pipe lengthened.... What we did for my gfx package is cut the welded on tip off the expanded the tail piece to 2.5" and bolted on a longer tip... Only welding that had to be done was a new hanger put on and obyone can weld on a new hanger in a very short amount of time
