Full Version: "Aux" mode - is there an input?

Hi, my newly-aquired '05's stereo has an "AUX" mode, which I assume is for an auxiliary input. Is there one hidden somewhere? I'd love to be able to plug an iPod in directly!

You need a converter to make it work; there is no actual input in the car until you install one of these:

That button is there because that head unit was used in many Ford vehicles.

Those pricey!!

pull the deck out and put in a new one for not much more!!
How much is a replacement 6-disc gonna cost? I'd rather spend the $70 on that unit
I'm assuming by the 05ST he has the Sony speakers and 6disc like I do
Not to mention you also would lose the steering wheel controls. I have the adapter to input my Sat radio. Works great. Nefcanuck had one in his Focus too.
