I am sure this has probably been discussed before and I have just missed it.

Curious if anyone else is having problems with their front links.
My wife's 2005 has had to have them replaced three times in the last three years.
No so bad when the parts are covered, but labour, although not expensive, it still a bit of a pain.

I kinda dread what I will be in for when the hot rod gets closer to 70,000kms.

Very common problem and virtually every Focus owner goes through it at one time or another. Fortunately aftermarket ones are not expensive and are often better than the original ... and it is a relatively easy DIY job to replace them.

Moog makes a good replacement as does Mevotech - the Mevotech ones require regular lubrification.
excellent thanks, I shall note that down, for in about one year I know their time will be up again Smile
I've done Moog 4 times already and I've given up. I'm just going to put a metal joint.
My moog end links were bulletproof, they lasted quite some time... unlike the stock ones!
