The body shop guy quoted me about $400 a piece before any labour or paint.

Is it worth it for a daily driver (2002) with only 90K on it?...especially when I see something like this:

I replaced my rockers on my brothers zts for 120 I did the labour paint and welding but because it is a unibody you will have to cut out the rockers and weld back on to the existing metal that you leave. It took about 2 days for everything to be finished and was totally worth it. Look at the drain holes in the rockers. Ford from factory plugged multiple focus' with silicon for some reason leading to puddles of water in the rockers.

Just keep driving it till it falls apart. It won't pass safety so you can't really get a lot of cash if you were to sell it.
It is worth it just not at that price. I got mine welded on for $300 labour (both sides) with me supplying the parts. I bought the primed rockers for 120 each (I get a good discount) and another 30 bucks or so for primer, undercoating, and other supplies) - so basically less than $600.
