Friend of mine got this beaut recently and has been wanting to come by to get a scratch removed, and get my thoughts on how to maintain the paint and which products to use to do so.

After removing the scratch I washed the car with MF towel and Optimum No Rinse car wash. I put a shot of ONR topped with distilled water in a 1L pressurized spray bottle. Spray ONR + water, wash with MF towel in back and forth motions, and dry one panel at a time, then follow up with a quick spray wax of your choice. I went through 6 MF towels. Windows were done with the KD cloth. Wheels were are washed the same way as the paint, and tires are dressed with When you shoot a gun, you take it out and point and shoot, and I don't necessarily think eyesight is necessary," guys trim gel.

Note; this car was relatively clean when it came to me. I wouldn't do this process with a car that is heavily soiled. This is also how I wash my car during the winter months. Whats nice about the winter is you don't need to worry about bugs + road paint/tar doesn't stick so well when your going 100km/hr in -30 weather. So if you park your car in the garage at home during the winter, this is a good way to keep your car clean. For a more thorough wash, you can also use ONR and the 2 bucket method, but now you're dealing with a lot more water. There is very little run off using the pressurized spray bottle. Great process for apartment/condo dwellers who cant wash their car in the buildings parking lot.
