it should do the job..never really liked MTX though, whats it powering?

Its probably better for a temp sub amp since its a 4 channel amp, will likely be better for the front and rear fill in your future set up, and I have some MTX amps and never had problems.

it will be powering one alpine type r for now...like i said everything is coming out in summer time and im putting in a full system with audison and hertz
