Bought a new daily today.
Wasn't the SVT I was looking for, but I couldnt pass up something 5 years newer, tasteful mods, and low kms for cheap.


2009 focus se coupe. 5 speed manual
magnaflow exhaust - usually Im not a fun of 4 cyl noise. This actually sounds very nice! I was impressed
short throw shifter
Steeda intake
eibach? lowering springs - perfect amount for looks and hopefully winter drive-ability.


The car's paint isn't perfect... but its good enough.

Paid $100 less then I sold the 04 mazda for











Sway bar end links were the first to replace.
We'll see how moog does, might need massive ones.

I would actually prefer it to be wingless or maybe a little ducktail thing.
Stock spoiler is meh.

I'm guessing you'll eat through those front end links pretty quick. I went through three sets(warranty replacement) before I upgraded from the "Nascar" ones to real moog. The good ones come with grease nipples. I'm 20k in on this set and haven't heard a peep from them.

you can get little roof wings. iv seen a few with them on from the factory

and those end links have grease nipples you can see them in the baggy beside the endlink in the picture

If these fail fast I'm going massive.

I have my paint for my interior!
This stuff won't flake. I went to my local paint shop and they hooked me up. I have a special adhesive and then a trim paint (satin black). Going to do it this week! we'll see how it turns out!



Got a new decal today!
SN95Forums is a site a moderate a few sections + facebook page, and I run their ROTM and twitter page.

The goal of the car is to tastefully rice :p lol.

Got to work on the interior pieces.
Felt the silver was out of place, so I painted it satin black.
Good lord those panels are a pain in the ass to get out...

I scuffed the plastic and used a special adhesive spray then trim paint. Its what my paint shop recommended. It's not suppose to chip, crack or flake.

I'm happy with the results! The black adds a nice contrast, but isn't out place like the silver. I did notice the satin shows up goofy in a couple pictures, looks really nice in person.




Also did the brakes. New pads and rotors on the front, new shoes on the back. Painted everything black, I have no idea why people like to have their brakes stand out, especially the drums.

The factory brakes were still on the car... the rotors were nasty.

Also bled the clutch, there was a lot of air in there... Hopefully that makes the clutch better. So far it seems much better.


Also cleaned the air filter... good lord the previous owner must have never cleaned it. yuck. Now its all clean and freshly oiled. Gave the steeda plate a quick polish too.




Went for a quick test drive and everything feels much better. I did U turn and when I straightened out I put my foot in it and the tires let out a good scream, really surprised by that. Manual is definitely way nicer with these duratecs.

Tons of stuff! They have all different colors of these bubble shifters with different length. This one is the shortest, I think 4 inch?

Not a very good picture, but they're super bright. So much better. Kind of annoy of they slight stay on always.
