Hi, my name is Paul. I'm new to the Ford Focus' scene, but not new to Ford's, or cars in general, or auto forums such as this.
Just bought a 2002 Focus SVT, in pearly-ish blue. I'll spare you the details since there's not that much to say. Some simple mods were done by the previous owner, but overall it seems like some of the general maintenance stuff may have been missed so I'm trying to bring it back to DD condition. I need a car that's fun but NOT a pain in the rear. I'm way to busy for that.
I've had many Ford's in my days and they've all treated me well.
'94 Escort LX Wagon (best car I've ever owned, 455,000kms on original clutch and exhaust before it finally dropped a valve seat)
'98 Exscort ZX2
Another ZX2 after that
'96 Escort GT
'08 Edge
'08 Taurus X
And now the SVT.
I'll probably seldom be posting as I have no time to work on the car, but do enjoy it so I like to keep myself informed before I take it anywhere for maintenance.
