Nice progress so far. It will be really nice once complete. One thing though, the yellow text make your pic's a little hard to read.
lol yeah, yellow text..

i used epoxy and resin clay(bodyfiller+resin mixed) to fill out gaps..
it is strong enough to hold double din in..

more pic will come soon..with black text.. ;)

here is how to on bypass..unlike other pioneer requires relcoate pin..
this only requires ground pulse to mimic ebrake is on..

hey why not use a switch with two positions, one for a direct bypass i.e directly grounded and the other for the hand brake ground, so you can choose whenever you want to bypass it? not sure if that makes sense.
i like relay method better
test fitted today and i need to cut few spots..
pic will be posted soon..
wahahaha, cut down lower support, not completely..
i get tight very tight and solid support!!
and also unit is held onto bezel!!

wahahahaha~i need to clean up wires to get it working..
rockford fosgate power series component speakers will be here sometimes tuesday or wednesday..
and it is running off from rockford 2ch amp..

damn i worked on chrysler concorde today and he wanted show car look..
alpine 4ch and mono amp vertically mounted right next to it, cap and distribution block sitting right next to it, customer loves it and i got red wine from him..tomorrow is thanksgiving day here..
anyway i m tired but i got enough energy to take some pics.. but after dinner..

1 thing i don't like about is paint..
universal black got pearl in it..when there is direct light, it looks like there is dust trap inside of clearcoat..
before finish all this up, i am about to start another project..

can you guess what it is..??
freacking awesome work lil buddy
very nicely done you know ur stuff
thanks

it is now working!!
excuse the screen, i had to adjust brightness and contrast..
was too dark to take pic and i didn't like to use flash..

next thing is to get either zune or whatever, so i can use custom background!!
grid looking background is ugly..
Needs a drop!

I mean... nice work! One question... will you have a snap-over cover later?

The one thing that kills me about static in-dash DVD screens is the "steal me!!!!" aspect they bring to the IP.
