They are great I had mine on last winter and they never wore. Still like new nice and quite. Plus they have the preslotted holes for the spikes lol.I was going to say before to returning them and get the TXI because the XSI is for light trucks lol. Have fun.

Just weighed in my stock SES 5 spoke wheels with the Arctic Claw on it and it showed up as 41.3 pounds, My Aftermarket Avanti wheel with the General Exclaim UHP weighed in at 18 pounds and my car weighs, according to the city of brampton recycling center is 1310 pounds with out me in it. Bo ya. :P

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess you mean 1310kgs? So 2882lbs. I'm surprised you've got that much of a weight difference between your stock and aftermarkets!

I picked up some 15" split 5 spoke OE alooys for winter yesterday. Holy hell those rims are heavier then I expected!

Actually I'm not surprised that a winter tire & OEM rim are that heavy.

An OEM rim has to withstand a lot of abuse to forestall a rash of warranty claims, add to that a winter tire, which is generally of a different construction that tends to be heavier (Winter tire compounds have to withstand much harsher conditions than a summer only tire)

I've come from a world of 13" and 14" tires, heh, big difference for me!!
Any movement on this group buy?
