I'm thinking of getting these headlights and was wondering if anyone had them on their car, I'd like to see some pics. Also, I was wondering with Canada having daytime running lights on our cars, when I plug in the harness with these lights if the halo around the lights turn on with the daytime running or what? I'm pretty sure the lights were designed more for U.S specs but I could be wrong.

those angel lights will eventually burn out on you
Chances are if those are like the Projectors I had when I had my focus, the angel eyes don't run off the factory harness and have to wired up seperately.
^ yup, he's right.
On FF, some guy had to wire the halos to the park lights.
What kinda sux for us is the DRL... we can't do the mod to like we used to on the 00-04 which made the fog lights the DRLs instead.
I've been eying those also... but would realy like to get an MBRP 2.5" exhaust first B)
someone who comes out Monday's has a set of these (scorcher??) and they look good ... check out the photos from last week's meet and you might be able to figure out how they were wired up ... I was thinking of getting a set for myself ... PM me if you're interested in combining a purchase to save on shipping.

I didn't know we couldn't do the DRL mod for '05+
^ we can't do the drl mod, but someone has figured how to make the fogs stay on when on high beam.
I was supposed to take some time and look into the DRL mod but the lack of schematics and time got the best of tme.
On that note, anyone here have schematics for the 07?

I've got the Ford service DVD for 07 - would it be on there?
It might be.
If you have time, do look it up.
I'd like to get the electrical schematics so I can figure something out. My electronics teacher always told me to never try and fix something without a proper schematic.
Well, I have been able to fix a few things without them in the past, but when it involves expensive items, I rather be cautious ;)
i bought a set of halos of ebay and they burnt out within a week hopefully you have better luck than i did

Is this it?

Don't waste your money on Ebay crap. I had bough something similar to that and they were burnt out in a week as well. So ended up getting real HID's.

Too bad there is no real HID's for 05 plus focus.
I probably won't be buying them from ebay, I just posted that picture since it's the best one I could find of them. Zxtuner.com sells them and they are pretty reputable.

ohh ok , in that case.

why dont you just remove the fuse for your DRL's and just splice into your city lights and hook them up like that.

Mine were set up with halo's on with city lights. You just cut the wire for city lights(turn signal lights) and just hook these up instead. They looked very good for the week that was working :D

Can you find the one with factory fog lights?
This one does not have fog lights.
Also, a much higher res (link only to limit bandwidth here) would be best.

cheers
grab multilmeter from canadian tires..
they are not that expensive..

put it in continuity mode and 1 probe to ground, another probe to 1 of 3 wires..
when you hear "beep", then there is your ground wire..
and for another 2, turn your low beam on and if it sees 12v, then that is the right wire..

same goes to parking light and turn signal..
