So, the CEL came on and the code from the OBDII is P1120 (Throttle Position Sensor out of range).

Did anyone get this and how did you fix it?

It's exactly what it says. Your TPS is malfunctioning, sooner or later you will need to replace it.

Where is that sensor located?
It is on the TB (throttle body). Left hand side usually and it is black little thing that has a connector and it is right in the beginning of it.

Looks something like this

Sensor is located on the right side of the Throttle Body. As long as you don't have an automatic transmission on a 2000 Zetec, it's a matter of unscrewing the sensor and replacing. The Ford part is around $80.00
ah, P1120, means the car will self destruct in 15 seconds :P

Let me know if you need help with it. :)

From a Ford dealer in Ontario the cost including taxes is 113.60 ... I can get the OEM Motorcraft part for you for 65.00 all in (part no. DY871) - a savings of 48.60, or 42%
