in case anyone on here was on the fence about buying these (or similar) tires because of wet weather concerns, i can say from first hand experience (just drove through a big rain storm) that at around 5/32" tread depth (approximately 1/2 tread i believe) the tires are safe to drive in the wet, as long as i keep the vehicle speed at around 55-60mph. at higher speeds i experienced hydroplaning when i drove over standing water.
