Not sure if it's wheel bearings or not. I get a clicking sound on the right front side when going slow. Nothing happens when I turn, or there is no noise above 20 kms/hour. Are Wheel Bearings cheap and easy to do yourself?
I had a noise like this also....it was a screw in my tire...something to check maybe?

When the car is parked, I pull on the right tire and get a bit of noise, but no movement.
no i dont think its your bearing, i think with bearings you will hear more at higher speed.

yours might be a rock/pepple in the tire/rim/hubcabs. sometimes it could also be the pads rubbing on the disc. try jacking the front tire and then free spin it by hand. that could help you narrow down your problem.
wheel bearing makes kinda like a growling noise
It may be the outer CV joint. Does it happen more when you are turning?

I noticed this morning it does occur when I'm turning and low speeds. I'm starting to think it's the CV joint. My Escort went through 4 or 5 through it's 450,000 kms
Anybody fixed one themselves?
