Ontario Provincial Police ask public's help in locating stolen vehicle
July 24, 2007

Huron County, Ontario - The Huron detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public's help in locating a GMC pickup truck in connection with the investigation of a double homicide.

The OPP are investigating the deaths of two people at a residence on Bronson Line, Stephen Township on July 23, 2007. The vehicle in question is a silver-colour 2006 GMC Sierra pickup, Ontario license number JK8 334.

Police remind residents to be vigilant and ensure that vehicles and residences remain locked. Anyone with information on this vehicle is asked to contact the OPP at 911, cell *67, or 1-888-310-1122, or to call local police. No attempt should be made to stop the vehicle or any occupants.

Huron County, Ontario - Further to an investigation into a double homicide announced on Monday, the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public's help in locating a second stolen vehicle.

The police are trying to locate a stolen green 2005 Ford Taurus, bearing Ontario license number AXSR 755. The vehicle was stolen on July 22, 2007 from a residence on Babylon Line in Bluewater Township between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. The OPP says that the Taurus is only a "vehicle of interest" at this time, and may not be related to the double homicide.

Police are also still actively looking for a silver-grey 2006 GMC Sierra pickup truck, bearing Ontario license JK8 334, and are interested in speaking to 22-year-old Jesse Norman Imeson, who should be considered armed and dangerous.

The OPP warns the public not to attempt to stop either vehicle; if located, call 911, 1-888-310-1122, or the local police agency. Police remind area residents to ensure that homes and vehicles are locked, and to report any suspicious activity or persons of concern to police immediately.
