After a long drawn out car hunt , one just sort of fell into our lap.
Picked it up from a coworkers neighbor. 2000 Sunfire GT, auto, 2.4L, 177,000km for $800.
I left at that shop on Monday and the mechanic called back in 4 hours and said it was ready, passed emissions/safety with no issue. While picking the car up, Rita told him how much we paid, he offered to buy it off us for $1000. No chance, this car is a score, just the change of luck we've been waiting for.
Now I would never in my life pick a Sunfire but it was practically given to us, and within our budget.
I swung buy the MTO, was second in line and had the plates in a matter of minutes. What a day.
