good luck with the sale. is it a b series 1.6L motor by any chance?

not sure if you have owned an older car before or not, but from experience i can tell you for sure they aren't as cheap as they seem on the surface.. random stuff will wear out and need replacing (they are well built and reliable but they aren't invincible, and they almost certainly have not been babied) and parts costs adds up (not to mention you use up your free time working on the car instead of driving it and enjoying it)

if you can get yourself not to modify it might be worth it to hold out for a bit longer and just get a newer car you are happy with in stock form... the ownership experience in my opinion is MUCH nicer when all you have to do is drive :)

I might be getting rid of my 2002 SVT Focus soon. Bought new in 2003 has 80,000 km and has not been abused. Not sure when this summer, but will be selling it when the GF moves in...watch for the listing.
