Full Version: Got My Clear Corners

Whats the easiest way to install them ? there is about 5 how tos and there all different , if yahs recommend the tire off method whats the nuts suppose to be torqued at with stock 16 inch wheels?
1st of all, I can't beleive there is a how to for this. :lol:

Go under your car, look at them and its very self explanitory. :P
are u serious? u don't need no wheels off of your car....just go out there, don't even lift the car....just go under the front bumper....untwist the harness with light bulb and push the stock corner out.....very very easy
theres a splash shield for 05 +

well...dont do that because people end up taking starters off when its a dead battery :P

Honestly, once your under there and looking at it, I'm sure you'll figure it out. Took me a whole 5 minutes to do...during a DSCR BBQ to. :huh: :lol:
yep you were right on that thing never had any problems like that before a boost always did it for me ...
i did mine on my old 05 bumper but i did it up on a hoist when i was getting my oil changed
the passenger side is real easy
the driver side is a pain cause the intake box runs down about an inch from the bumper
just take off the splash shield and the first 2 or 3 screws out of the wheel well to get your arm in there
turn the wheel out of the way instead of taking them off

1- Disconnect the battery
2- Empty the gas tank
3- Remove all the oil from the car
4- Remove all the anti-freeze from the car
5- Remove the battery
6- Remove the front wheels
7- Remove the back ones, just as a safety precaution. (Optional)
8- Remove the fender splash guards
9- Remove the indicator lights by removing the two screws
10- Have a beer, its brake time :)

i guess you know the rest by now :D:D:D
got them on , broke clips holpefully those nuts hold them.

Just a quick question for clear corners on an 05+ can previous year like 00-04 clear corners work. When searching ebay that's all I can seem to find.
yep , all the same
Yup, clears for 00-07 NA Foci are the same, obviously excluding SAP variants.
