i wonder whats the pay..... over 100k?
Holy Crap! That guy has to have a set of brass balls the size of watermelons.

No F'ing way I could ever do that job, cruising around on those cables like that. My stomach was turning just watching him shimmy along.

He has to be getting paid some seriously big bucks for that.
I heard somewhere that these guys get paid 5000 bucks an hour.

And NIK...New flash kiddo. 100k isn't a lot of money ;)

It's all relative. You can live extremely well on less than $100G a year in 95% of Canada, when you're not overpaying for your property like we do.
it's like the starting salary for a Moleman in new york is about $100k US.

the work can be quite dangerous if you're not careful.

I've been up in a helicopter flown by a hydro pilot.. those guys are damn good at what they do.
i've been in the halicopter only for 10 mins....and cost me $38 :(
Damn thats one job I could not do theres just no way........
Hydro one does those inspections all the time...they make good money but not $5000 an hour. Its more like $80 an hour.
