This does NOT look like the preview photos I've seen previously.....I predict new Mitsu Evo sales to skyrocket!! And this is the BEST looking photo I've seen of it....

It looks like they welded the ass of a Camry and the front end of a Corolla to a WRX chassis. At least the functional hood scoop is bigger! :lol: :rofl:

I just MSNed my buddy with a 2006 STi... he says so many WRX owners are laughing their asses off!

Unless that's another one of those C&D April Fools' photos.

How did this get here???

I was super off and on about the '06 redesign, but it grew on me.. It's a softer, more grown up look to the WRX line I think, but it's still aggressive ... This is just way too laid back and relaxed .. Not the angry look it once had.

Then again, these are just photochops so who cares :P

Actually it looks very close to the next Corolla coming out in 2008-9

O don't car what it looks like !!! with the new gear set in the STi that puts the car into the low 12's stock it could have a rubber prostetic sphinkter for a grill and be painted purple

That's a Hyundai Excel.... The only thing those POS'es ever "exceled" at was burning oil... college buddy had one and we switched between his & my car to get to the colege...

Let's just say as much as I hated driving at 7AM, I hated riding in that stinking rattletrap of his even more <_<

Subaru's in general have never been about looks as K_OS already said. Some older Impreza's, recent Legacies are generally accepted as good looking cars, many including myself like the '04/'05' Impreza look but at the end of the day its 'function over form' like the people who own them.

The two I have owned two ('91 Loyale & '04 WRX) and they were truly outstanding machines. The things they are capable of is truly amazing and then there is the reliability/longevity.

I maintain my cars and keep them clean but they are not pampered by any means and I make them work damn hard. I will run them for 1000km/day for weeks on end and see the far side of 200 kph at the same time with a passenger and luggage. If that isn't enough, being a transcontinental guided missle is not what they are designed to be 'best' at but it really delivers.

The percent of repeat Subaru buyers is in the order of 92% last I heard. I will always own one.
