Will a 2004 throttle body (std) fit on a 2002?

I am assuming yes, but you know what happens when you assume.

I would check with Ford first. My 2000 Zetec had three different Throttle bodies. My TPS went and it cost me $400.00 to replace, and that was just the new Throttle Body. If I had been on Focuscanada then, I would have asked about performance TB's before I bought a new stock TB
