Ford Recalls Cop Cars

Ford is recalling Crown Victoria Police Interceptor sedans to fix wheels that may develop cracks leading to rapid air loss in the tires, Bloomberg News reported.
The recall affects as many as 109,664 vehicles built between October 10, 2001 and December 8, 2004, in St. Thomas, Ontario, Ford said in a letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The company, which is issuing the recall voluntarily, will begin notifying owners starting March 12, Ford told NHTSA.
