Looks pretty sweet, I'd jump on that if I had $800 sitting around lol. A good thing to is you cant go wrong with Clarion's stuff, their stuff is pretty good quality.

Thats what ive heard I originally wanted to keep the stock deck but the only way im swapping it out if for this bad boy, just waiting awhile to catch up on bills so I can purchase a few things.

I dont like clarion personally.

Don't wait too long. That deck was disco'd by Clarion a while ago. When it's gone, it'll be gone for good. The VRX575USB is the same price, 2007 model, comes with USB.

whats the point of a screen that big?. whats it going to display?... track number and song title?

Unless its got sat nav I dont see the point in a screen that big.

its touch screen, and can do a bunch of other things too.

Its a great deck but watch the feature list. It does not have any sound processors so if your planning a large system you will have to buy the external ones, and thats Big $$$. The big thing are the crossovers.

good to know so what should I look for ? and it has a dvd player thats whats the use of the screen .

nice deck for sure, but i would definatly get it from ebay, save some $$$

Do you guys have any idea how to install these decks so that the emergency brake wont have to be on ? im gonna install it myself.

Im considering a jensen they are are cheaper

There is a way to bypass the ebrake for power to the screen... but i'm not sure how exactly. Anyone?

well I'm guessing that the Ebrake input just gets grounded when the ebrake is up sooo just ground that wire? just a guess.... if you buy a harness kit you might have to splice it off the harness between the clarion plugs and the ford factory plugs,,, the 12 volt is a good source for wiring schematics,, just scan other peoples questions it's gurenteed that your answer has alredy been posted

i just got the jensen one, all in all im very happy with it, the way to bypass the ebrake is to connect the wire to a ground point any where in the car, and then just put a toggle switch on it. the switch asks like an ebrake. thats all i did and dont seem to have any problems.

Is there a way without a switch ? Does the deck sound good ? You have subwoofers hooked up ? I know the regular jensen decks aint good quality how is this one ? any problems ?

there is no way to do it without the switch, bcause in order to get video playback you have put the ebrake on for 5 seconds then off for 5 and then back 0n. the sound is great, i have one jbl 10 with a jbl amp. in my other car i have alpine cda-9835 ($600 deck a couple years ago) with alpine type-s 6x8, 2 12" type-s, and a 1200 watt apline amp. any am still very impressed with sound the jensen is producing. for price i would recomends it to anyone.

JVC has some kick Azz decks...including DVD screen HU's...I was actually thinking of buying one of the Arsenal Series ones for the Mustang at one point (Decided against an aftermarket stereo since I'm still happy with the stock one).

Ever consider them as an option?
