What was my site last year? Like 206 or 204 wasn't it? I liked how it was pretty leveled and whatnot where the vehicle would go.

Just hope it's not so cold again this year that I wake up convulsing...lol

I'll see what the training sched is like for the weekend mentioned by DP, and see if I can attend again (think I should, as I live the closest to the damned place I think)...
I couldn't trust my memory but the pics don't lie. Anthony this would be the 3rd year. As for weather this year, it's really 50/50, the first year it was soooo hot, last year, not so warm.....
well girlfriend is up for it.. just got to book time off of work and wait for the approval for a credit card to book a site

ahhh yes thing is the people in charge were reluctant to have a sport compact class cuz there arrogant and don't like seing our 11 second 4cylinders come clos to ther 10 sec v8's ...

ne how they decided to have the class becasue there wern't enough cars entering and when RTP decides to attend an event we come in force IE 30 cars entered and around 70 ppl we entered ... last years windsor shoot out we entered 30 cars @ $50/car which is $1500 in revinue.. plus the hundred or so spectators we had camped ...

SO I'm not going and neither is RTP... I'd rather go camping with you guys,,,
Well looks like there is a bit of intrest!

We had what? 8 or 9 guys last year, over dozen the year before... It's always a great turn out with awesome conversation and wicked food.

Not to mention the drive up and back are an absolute riot. You can't beat Algonquin roads.

The first year's drive up was almost religious. The weather was fantastic, clear and hot. Windows down the whole way!

Let keep our fingers crossed for this year.

I'll make a formal thread with pictures and such fro everyone this week.
i know this is kind of an early quastion....but any idea when the famous Anthony's BBQ is happening?

It will be the weekend of Meford's birthday.

I beliebe it's August 15th. I'll post about that in April / May.

I still have some ideas I want to explore this year.
Wooohooo!!!!! Count me in on both ;) I think I had site 210 last year, but i cant remember. What a blast that was tho :beerchug:
Weighing vacation options right now but may make a surprise appearance. I like it so much I'd even camp with you lot again :P

Friends and I have already have sites booked for July at Turkey Point on Lake Erie.

I'm going to have to attack this again for scheduling. It's really interesting... just please don't let there be massive storms this year!

I hate seeing in pink and blue.
Even with the cold weather last year, It wasn't THAT bad!

I don't ever remember being frozen to the bone....Maybe the Friday night where I realized I brought the wrong sleeping bag.

how a 6'3" guy mistakenly brings his wife's child-sized sleeping bag still boggles this mind.
im not gonna know my availability until closer to the event, my cousin is going to be opening his new restaurant at the begining of june and wants me to be there.

im sure i can hop onto a site closer to the date
I have as of this morning booked site #207. My intention is to arrive mid morning Friday and depart at lunch Sunday.

So far it is just me but it may be me and my, by that time, 7 yo boy. Or if things go really well a "player to be named later" who likes camping; June's a long way off yet ;)
Nice!

Atendees so far:

- ANTHONYD (AND BRO. IN-LAW)
- DARKPUPPET (and is buddy's family - site 206)
- 2001ZTS "SALTY SAILOR"
- J3RT
- DRIVETHEBEAST?

Already shaping up to be a good turn out!
so far sites that are booked that weekend are in red..

btw... a good bud of mine is coming, and his wife is most likely coming along.. so there's gonna be women present this year... cool chicks, but still, if you were looking to "homo up" this weekends, be forewarned. :P

every weekend is a "boy's" weekend for me anyways...
I'm out again this year, maybe next year its not in a dog free zone :(

why not just book in a dog-allowable area? there are regular campsites within crawling distance of the RF sites... we'll do a site-crawl and visit and whatnot.

We book the RF sites because we're able to pretty much just take over the area...
