What would that roughly run ? I'm not sure if there are any places locally who even do it .. Might have to send it away for that, and if that's the case.. I can't really be driving around with no valve cover..
...Unless replacing the valve cover with a plastic bag would work..
Hmmmmm.....

I was just thinking .. For powder coating to stick, doesn't all of the surface have to be covered..? Meaning the inside too.. What if it flakes apart or anything..? Having broken paint chips on the inside of my valve cover.. isn't ... really cool :|
What are your thoughts on high temp engine paint..? I was thinking flat black if I can find such a creature.

It will cost you anwhere between $80-$150 for powder coating depending on who wants to make money.
High temp engine paint would work to, powdercoating will last longer.

I may suggest if your enginE Is covered in oil....It may be benificial to spray down the engine with a degreaser first.
Let that penetrate for a little while and then follow the steps above.
REMEMBER, IF YOU'RE USING DEGREASER.....IT WILL LIKELY LEAVE MARKS ON YOUR DRIVEWAY FROM THE OIL FLOWING DOWN IN THE WATER.
There are still marks in the school paring lot from where I washed my engine 2 YEARS AGO!
