Got my clutch replaced by my mechanic on Monday ($1000) the thing was toast, coming home from work yesterday, shifter pops out of the linkage. Stranded at King Rd & 400, get the car towed to mechanics shop (Now 1:30am), left mechanic a (not-so-nice) message, woke up this morning and get a call from my mechanic, he apologizes and tells me the next service is on him and anything else he can do to make up for it.
I tell him I need an oil change, and an emissions test, he does both of them for me for free! (so he should)
Heres the nice ending... car passes emissions with flying colours. Woo hoo, one less thing to worry about.
