Ford is getting rid of the Focus hatches and the wagon when this new focus hits the market, for 08. many people have posted that a while ago. the only focus to come in a Hatch or Wagon will be an Imported Global version of the MK2 Focus.
Remember this new American Built Focus is still an MK1 in it's 3rd facelift.
MK1 - 2000 ~ 2004 ( cheaper version of the Euro Foucs)
MK1.2 - 2005~2007
Mk1.3 - 2008~2010
MK2 - Sold World Wide but North America
Mk3 - 2010+ it will be the same story with the first generation of Focus Sold here.
