He need tires and steelies. Needs a price for 16" and 17". I'm not sure as far as tire profile goes, but he wants some General Altimax Arctic's too.

This would be for a 2007 Pontiac Montana SV6, profile size is up to you.

^^ pretty sure that would be a six-bolt rim - good luck finding any kind of affordable steelie for those.

Ya i think I prices some out, they have to come from Quebec and I think they were about $75 each

Interesting ... because the same year Chevy Uplander is 6x115 bolt pattern (found this out helping my neighbour shop for steelies) ... and Tirerack lists 6x115 for a 2006 Montana. Strangely they don't have a listing at all for a 2007 or later Montana.

We can do the 215-45-17 Altimax for $150 each installed.
Or we even have a set of 16" focus rims we could put some snows on and sell that way.

How much for 15"s (185-65R15)? Put on rims I have, balanced but not installed on the car. (I'd bring them in my truck)

Thanks

I'm off for the weekend but I can check on Monday for you.
Do you want new or used tires?

I'll check on monday for what we have in stock for that year and model.
16"s are probably the best option.
Thanks, appreciate it man!

Post up some sizes and tire you want and I'll price em out for you.

But the price you got from ok tire was more

Most of tire23 stock come from Tirerack. Obviously cheaper to buy straight from Tirerack but not after you price out getting them installed and balanced.
The Hankook on my Marauder work great, but it may be time for some new rear ones. Somehow they have worn down faster than the fronts

They are cheaper because of the specific speed and weight rating needed for the cars. Tire23 was giving lower speed rated tires so thats why they are cheaper. Not good for business.

These are both 87Q rated though, no difference there?
Even a shop called Speedstar quoted me at 807 taxes in, balanced and mounted.. so OK tires seems more expensive than most.

Reason y is because I gave you a safe speed rating and not a unsafe speed rating. Your car is more than able to go past 160KM which is a Q rated tire. I gave you a V raed tire that is good untill 240KM. With the higher rating you will have a tire that can take more weight to in tight turns and the structure of it will last a lot longer because the tread wont be under alot of pressure cause it to look soft all the time.
I've seen ppl that buy tire at walmart and tire rack that are dirt cheap and say they are great untill they wipe out or blow a side wall when hitting a pot hole because the tire was not the right tire for the car.
Just trying to help you have a nice car just don't want to see it in a ditch or at the bottom of a ice lake lol

Oh, I thought in the 215/45/17 size only 87Q was available?
Noooo, many different rating are availible but only to the stores and warehouse that have them.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up.
Do you have a quote for V rated tires in 215/45/17 for the General's castone?
I think the Altimax Arctic's only come in a Q rated tire.

That's what I thought to, because that was the only rating on Tirerack for those.. Any input John?
