that guy has talent...
The "Towel rod" (is not simple or bold enough!)
The "rod" spoils it for me but everything else is
"Excellent !"
i dunno guys..

that pro install of the flat screen in the focus with mismatched screws was pretty hard to beat
with the kickpanels being aimed like that, I'd say he should have kept the stock door speaker locations....

the center sub in the box is closer to the left sub than the right one... and the towel rack..well.... umm....

I think it's a good start for a clean install, but it looks like he made some needless sacrifices.

Yup my opinion also, I can't imagine that sounding near as good as if they were angled upwards.

Extremely small subs also, I dunno, the install is nice aside from the UMBRA towel bar from Home Outfitters, I can't see the sound being that great with those subs.

It's a clean install but lots of things I would have changed/done different.

Meh... the off axis response on those DLS components are amazing. IIRC he's using a 3 way setup so the factory locations are allready occupied.

Box construction i'll have to agree with. could have been better. and the towel rack sucks.

As for those subs, Its surprising what those little guys can do. There are guys running 1200w to the pair.

I'm personally going to replace my factory sub with one of those. and run it when my main subs arent in the car.

There are guys with 2 of those 6.5's hitting 140+ DB.... pretty impressive if you ask me
1200 w is awesome but when it comes to sub theory, there's a huge response/frequency difference from say an 8" to a 10" to a 12" to a 15" sub.

Also to add, off axis sound can be decent but nothing is better then having the speakers directed towards the listener to get the best staging.......

Also with the speakers that low, the sound stage is also low so it's limiting the SQ on this install severely............

I've never been a fan of kickpanels unless your supplementing them with other front end speakers to raise the stage.......
