what you saying chad, i live on the west side. no problems here since i've been living here. heard the east side is gone to crap.
It's sick how many people post about vandalism and s*** in Saskatoon on 306motorclub.com. Makes me glad my car is parked in the garage even though I'm in a fairly decent area..
It's all over the city, most break ins on the east side due to the money people have (richer crowd, better stereos on average), but crime is insane on the west side.
I worked within the police station for a bit, man the things I could tell ya, and considering 85% of the police force is concentrated on the downtown and west side at any given moment (every shift) that should say something....
I'm glad I don't really need to worry about alot, good neighborhood, other than being close to Robert Usher and the kids that walk by. Other than that mainly old people and such so no real vandlism problem.
There are alot of areas on the west side of the city that are easily as good as the better areas on the east side. You really just have to stay out of the alpha-ghetto. The West side is fine, mind you, I did have my 82 Jetta stolen, my window smashed out, my 88 Micra tipped on it's side, and there was that fire in the backyard last year... then there are the rape tunnels under circle drive...
Man the west side is a hole!
