I know a lot of people complain about the recalls on the focus, and how it's the most recalled car ever (it's not)...

Consider how much happier you would have been if you spent the extra money on a BMW X5...

hehe, yeah Old 5 series are even worse then the X5. The only thing with bimmer, they keep ppl happy once they know there is a problem. Unlike Ford that doesnt give a s*** about customer service.
free scheduled maintenance for the first 50,000miles including wear items. i wouldn't sweat it i would just drop it off, say 'y0 fix my sh!t please, gimme a sweet loaner' and be on my merry way. and it would get to say 'i drive a bmw' and impress the 99.9% of the rest of the world that does not care how MaDD TitE Jdm my ride is
lol I can't wait to see anthony's responce to this one lol...
I agree, holy recalls batman!

However,

I'm not as pissed at all the recalls that plagued the Focus. I'm pissed at all the other things. Year old parts crapping out for no reason with no warning. Twice, threetimes, in some cases seven (rear bearings DPFE.) Constantly having the NEW car in for this and that etc...I gtta give it to Ford on this one though, when there is a recall, they call you to make sure you've had it done. The also ask you if there is anything else you'll neet etc... Decent service from my experiences. Discovery Ford take spretty good care of me.

I always liked BMW's... However, those cars are like stray dogs, cute but still can't trust them.

looks like they are NOT the ultimate driving machine!

I keed I keed. I havent had any problems with my Focus, so I have been really happy with it. except for the usual fuel pump change, and the dpfe recall thats all I have had to work on.
I'd still buy one in a faction of a heartbeat over my focus anyday of the year.................
BMWs are looked down on in Germany.
