Launch control is cool. I only tried it once, but it's something I wish I had on my other cars. I can do it on the SRT4, kit out there, mostly plug and play, but it will cost me $600USD.
My SVT Contour is one of only 2 known SVT Contours with factory traction control. It was a error on the line, because SVT models did not show a factory TC option. I don't like it because it is old school traction control, just cuts the spark and fuel on any loss of traction. The newer stuff out today, like the SS launch control, are far better because they limit wheel spin without necessarily totally cutting the engine power.
