Albeit with Ken Block at the wheelWink

The car also has a pretty trick traction control and stability control in it, long as I don't dump it into sport mode or race mode I'm good for now, but winters are going on forsure

Drove Jamie's ST yesterday after work. What a sweet car. Loved it.

RE: ST has arrived! - dBlast - 11-08-2012

I think it will be my next car. I can't decide on the colour yet. I am leaning toward tangerine scream but I have not seen it in person and I hope it is not similar to the tri-blaze yellow that I have seen on other focuses and fiestas.

Jamie, any plans on picking up a throwback exhaust and randys tuning?

RE: ST has arrived! - GFXjamie - 11-08-2012

I am going to be getting tune and bolt on's. Just installed new rear motor mount, what a difference!

Car is even faster, hooks up better, throttle response is awesome and no wheel hop or sloppy motor

Cobb tuning should be coming out with some good stuff.

RE: ST has arrived! - GFXjamie - 11-08-2012

Cobb has dropped the ball hard. They show up claiming the motor hits the firewall, without any proof when we all know a soft mount causes wheel hop and usually a bang in the mount itself. They have yet to release any parts or even cobb AP.

I will say I won't be spending my money with them. Their forum presence is less than half asses too. Their r and d postings are just using an employee's car to tell us that there is potential gains with bolt ons and tune.... Well duh ofcourse there is

I still don't understand why they wouldn't put a real LSD in these ST's?
Was reading MazdaSpeed3 forums and it was a big deal breaker for most people over there.

Good point - or at least offer it as an option. We know they have one - at least for the manual tranny - 'cause they have it on the race version.

Yea Jamie I've been reading the Cobb postings lol.. I think they kinda failed there big time... I do like how there are more companies coming out with new bolt ons already... cfms already got some products released, Randy's got custom tuning already and read a facebook post today about there soon to be released cool floor intake for the st. I really like the support we've gotten from buschur racing... I will be buying an st after our house is built in spring

Jamie start saving up for Dunlop Star Spec Z1 tires. Seriously, you would love those tires on your car.
